Sacred Grove — Mistfall Hunter Beginner Map
Sacred Grove is the Mistfall Hunter beginner map and the endgame Path of Glory map. Worldview, bestiary, Normal and Chaos mode rules.
Sacred Grove

Sacred Grove is the first map every Mistfall Hunter player drops into and the primary Path of Glory map at endgame. The Normal mode is the tutorial ring; the Chaos mode remains on the daily rotation even at Chapter 6 for rank resets. Compared to the Golden-Mist-consumed regions, Normal Sacred Grove still keeps a measure of peace, and extraction is easier. Danger lurks in the trees, but most monsters have not yet lost all control. Hunters can finish their search and extraction under the watching God Anchor.
Map overview
The launch Sacred Grove is a single region with two modes:
- Normal — peace-tier. Quality cap ≤ Exceptional, bags limited to Apprentice / Advanced / Professional, no value gate. Intended for first-time runs and Path of Glory tutorial chains.
- Chaos — chaos-tier. Quality cap ≤ Sacred, bags limited to Advanced / Professional / Elite, value requirement ≥ 800. The endgame daily.
Sacred Grove is the only map with a Chaos mode at launch; Brand Stronghold runs Cataclysm instead.
Worldview wallpapers

Worldview
Four pillars anchor the lore of this region.
God Anchor — exposed World Tree roots, scattered across the continent in the form of ancient trees. They are the anchor pins of the three realms.
Central Giant Tree — roughly the girth of five fortress soldiers embracing it; the canopy spreads like a mushroom cloud; the roots reach deep underground, all the way to the underworld.
Star Era — Sea-Giant demigod Hastein was slain by the gods; his remains were pinned to the coast by a giant spear, leaving behind magical arrays and the remains of a study.
Sleeping Dragon Order — the arrays left behind on the Demigod Coast may be tied to the Sleeping Dragon Order.
Bestiary
The named monster types that inhabit Sacred Grove and the surrounding zones.
Thrush Cantor (Thrush Singer)

A Walg-modified humanoid. A thrush soul has been fused in; it has lost its human form. Its voice cuts through the air and draws nearby Rusters.
Soul-Bound Witch-Servant & Attendant

A Walg subrace focused on magic. Light-boned, weak in melee. Mages are the majority within the subrace; the most intelligent among them become "Witches".
Jailer (Warden)

Guardians in the fortress's lower levels who spent long years torturing prisoners. After the Golden Rust took hold, they gained monstrous strength and now move carrying their torture implements.
Dragonkin Lizardmen

Minions of the Black Dragon Karan. Once took part in the surface counterattack, but after the Black Dragon was sealed away, they retreated to the abyssal zones and craft weapons from parasitic fungi.
For the four named treasure-zone elites (Elite Berserker, Brutal Executioner, Frost Mage, Nest-tender), see the bosses page.
Mode availability
| Mode | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Normal | Available | Tutorial and Path of Glory daily. |
| Chaos | Available | Endgame daily; ≥ 800 value required. |
| Cataclysm | Not available | Cataclysm is a Brand Stronghold-only mode. |
Chaos mode
Chaos Sacred Grove is where the named-Path-of-Glory grind happens. Uncontrolled souls and Golden Mist weave together, dragging the entire Sacred Grove into chaos. Monsters grow mad and dangerous; the previously calm zones keep mutating. The souls trapped here are slowly losing their "human" shape. This is no longer a forest — it is a spreading nightmare.
The God Anchor can spawn in the final five minutes of a Chaos run — pull it to open ground, plan for a 4-minute kill, and do not commit damage on cooldown. See bosses for the God Anchor form rotation.
