Wind's Breath Bay — Mistfall Hunter Social Hub
Wind's Breath Bay is the Mistfall Hunter social hub: a safe zone with no ring collapse, no PvP, vendors for trade, gear crafting, and loadout staging.
Wind's Breath Bay

Wind's Breath Bay is the place where the wind stops — and the only home the Mist-Chasers have. Hunters cross the Golden-Mist seas, push through the haze, and reach this quiet end-of-the-world outpost. There is no Golden-Mist corruption here, no monster cries, only the chance to sort your pack, trade your loot, upgrade your gear, and breathe for a moment. The peace is borrowed, though: the Golden Mist keeps spreading, and the lure of Streamgold keeps drawing new hunters back to the front. Rest, repair, regroup — and Sochi, Lu, Pipi, and the rest of the camp will be waiting for your return.
The three official wallpapers are presented below.
A persistent safe zone
Wind's Breath Bay is a single persistent region, not a run. It never collapses, never spawns enemies, and never starts an extraction timer. You cannot lose your gear here and you cannot be ambushed by another player. Compared with the Golden-Mist-consumed regions, the bay is a different game entirely — there is nothing to fight and nothing to extract from. The only clock that matters is your own.
What you do in the bay
The bay covers every loadout-and-recovery loop a hunter needs between runs.
- Trade loot with vendors and other hunters. Streamgold earned in the field converts into gear, supplies, and upgrades here.
- Craft and repair gear — the bay's forges and benches cover the full quality ladder from Common up to Legendary, and can rebuild damaged pieces from a run.
- Stage loadouts for the next map. Pick the bag tier (Apprentice through Elite), confirm the value requirement, and queue into Sacred Grove or Brand Stronghold.
- Manage stash and storage — pack the items you want to bring out, deposit the rest for the next run.
- Talk to the camp — Sochi, Lu, Pipi, and the other named companions stand here between runs. They advance the story, hand out objectives, and unlock new modes as the Path of Glory progresses.
Atmosphere

The bay is built around a sheltered natural harbor. Tall cliffs cut off the worst of the wind, lantern-lit piers stretch out over still water, and the air smells of salt and tar instead of rust. Sound design is muted on purpose: no combat, no ambient monster calls, no ring-collapse rumble. It is the contrast to the chaos outside that makes the bay feel like home.

How it fits the game loop
Wind's Breath Bay is not on the run ladder. It has no mode (Normal / Chaos / Cataclysm), no value requirement, and no gear cap. You exit any run, with whatever you extracted, and you land here. From the bay you re-queue into a map, and the cycle continues. Treating the bay as the static "between" space keeps the run maps clean — Sacred Grove and Brand Stronghold are pure combat-and-extract arenas, and the bay is pure preparation.
