Mistfall Hunter Weapons
The full weapon roster at launch — 67 weapons across 10 families, indexed against the seven-step quality ladder and the class that wields them. Stats were compiled from a community data snapshot taken 2026-07-30 and cross-checked against per-family stat sheets before publication.
Quality ladder
Weapons follow the same rarity ladder as armor:
| Tier | Localized | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Broken | Starting gear, often found in white chests. |
| 2 | Common | White-grade drops; easy to replace. |
| 3 | Refined | Green-grade; first "real" upgrade. |
| 4 | Exceptional | Blue-grade; mid-game budget BiS. |
| 5 | Epic | Purple-grade; pre-endgame BiS. |
| 6 | Legendary | Gold-grade; endgame BiS. |
| 7 | Sacred | Orange-grade; top-end chase gear. |
Each tier adds roughly 15–25% damage / utility over the previous tier, with named set bonuses at Legendary and Sacred.
Weapon families (10)
| # | Family | Localized | Class binding | Stance count |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Sword-and-Shield | Sword-Shield | Mercenary | 1 stance |
| 2 | Hammer (Warhammer) | Warhammer / Great Hammer | Mercenary | 1 stance |
| 3 | Staff | Staff | Sorcerer | 1 stance |
| 4 | Longbow | Longbow | Blackarrow | 1 stance |
| 5 | Dagger | Dagger | Shadowstrix | shares with Dual-blade |
| 6 | Dual-blade | Dual-blade | Shadowstrix | shares with Dagger |
| 7 | Tome (Spirit-Medium) | Spirit-Medium | Seer | 1 casting stance + mace off-hand |
| 8 | Mace (Spiked) | Spiked Mace | Seer (off-hand) | defensive peel |
| 9 | Greatsword | Greatsword | Withered Knight | 1 stance |
| 10 | Spear-and-Shield | Spear-Shield | Withered Knight | 1 stance |
Stance count = 1 means the class does not actually swap weapons inside combat — they have one "stance". Stance count > 1 means the class swaps between two named weapons; this is a literal playstyle change for Shadowstrix (dagger ↔ dual-blade).
Per-family overview

Iron Sword-Shield (Refined) — first "real" upgrade.
Studded Sword-Shield (Exceptional) — mid-game budget BiS.

The Destroyer (Legendary) — endgame BiS.
Insatiable Heart · Siegebreaker Hammer (Sacred) — top-end chase weapon.
Sorcerer — Staff
Seven weapons. Staff scaling cares about elemental bucket, not raw atk — the BiS pick is the staff whose elemental affinity matches your talent tree.

Accumulator Staff (Exceptional).
Azure Rain Staff (Epic).
Blind Warped Staff (Legendary).

Crude Handmade Longbow (Broken).
Handmade Longbow (Common).
Oiled Wood Bow (Refined).
Yew Longbow (Exceptional).
Expedition Strong-Arm Bow (Epic).
Dead-Claw Hunter (Legendary) — endgame BiS.

Rusted Spiked Mace (Broken).
Spiked Mace (Common).
Morning-Star Mace (Refined).
Bogu Mace (Exceptional).
Spirit-Tree Drum Mace (Epic).
Absolution (Legendary).
Wulfen Hero · War-Cry Spike (Sacred).

Attendant Greatsword (Common).
Executioner Greatsword (Refined).
Exile Greatsword (Exceptional).
Holy-Heart Greatsword (Epic).
Mercy (Legendary).
Wulfen Hero · Blade of Judgment (Sacred).
Withered Knight — Spear-and-Shield
One named weapon at endgame — the stance the August 6 patch buffed: better gap-close, sustained aggression, lower energy costs on the parry follow-ups.
Insatiable Heart · Eternal Flame Spear-Shield (Sacred) — the only named Spear-and-Shield at launch.
Damage types
Weapons roll damage in one or two of the following buckets. Armor resists the matching bucket.
| Bucket | Sources | Strong against |
|---|---|---|
| Physical | Sword, Hammer, Bow, Dagger, Dual-blade, Greatsword, Spear | Unarmored targets |
| Fire | Tome (fire spec) | Plant, ice-creature |
| Ice | Tome (ice spec) | Fire-creature |
| Lightning | Tome (lightning spec) | Water-creature |
| Holy | Tome (holy spec), Spear (Sacred line) | Undead, corrupted |
Most launch weapons roll physical + one elemental for endgame BiS.
